Prior to that, his work at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services involved creating HIPAA-compliant systems with a primary focus of safeguarding sensitive patient data. His background also includes serving as a Risk Management Officer for a private hedge fund, where he developed and enforced rigorous risk management frameworks.
